Wig-Art turbo manifolds are optionally available in steel or stainless steel. Wig-Art turbo manifolds work according to:
- Pulse-charging principles, that means they use the energy of the high-velocity exhaust gas
- or twinScroll in order to achieve efficient high speed of the exhaust gas upstream of the turbine
To achieve this, we use flow-optimized collector and as equal as possible pipe lengths and volumes. In this way a greater part of the kinetic energy of the exhaust gas is maintained, which is used in the turbine. An up to 30% earlier response of the turbocharger is generated and the risk of heat build-up in the combustion chamber is minimized.
Wig-Art turbo manifolds are handmade in Germany. We only use high quality materials that meet the load requirements. All our Wig-Art turbo-manifolds are tested, before series production, extensively by various motorsports teams in the 1/4 mile, while in circuit and hill climb up to the load limits.
