Wig-Art twinscroll turbo manifolds are made of high quality stainless steel (1.4878) and welded by hand (tig welding) made in Germany. All Wig-Art turbo manifolds usually have a flange thickness of 10mm to -12mm. Divided pipe guidance to the collector, only the cylinders are merged, which during combustion does not interfere with each other (twinScroll principle). This results in an even earlier response, lower exhaust temperatures and less exhaust back pressure. All pipes are designed by equal length to use the maximum kinetic energy of the exhaust stream. The pulse turbocharging uses the kinetic component (pulse) by high velocity of the exhaust gas upstream of the turbine. The result is a 30% earlier turbocharger response. The collector is CNC machined and designed with optimized flow, so that flows onto the turbine wheel optimally. All our Wig-Art turbo manifolds are welded with forming gas to prevent an eventual seam collapse. As material we use 1.4878. The wall thickness is 2.6mm for maximum load, even under racing conditions.
Wig-Art twinscroll turbo manifolds are known to fit perfectly and all flanges are ground flat after the welding. Customer requests can be received individually in the manufacturing process.
